Koalis Kitchen Inaugural Dinner with Chef Steven Shikhel

Steven Shikhel, PhD is a classically-trained scientist on a mission to change the way people interact and think about food. Steven is currently the resident culinary artist at The Cell Theater where he cooks for and curates Chauhaus, an experiential and innovative series of events designated to foster the exchange of ideas in a non-hierarchical and laidback environment.  Steven’s culinary aesthetic takes inspiration from the diversity of New York City. He combines a unique set of flavors from across the boroughs and packages them into vessels to create novel combinations not found anywhere else. Steven believes that if you create a nurturing space to learn, be heard and enjoy unique culinary experiences, the result, has the power to radically benefit society and the world.

 Each $100 ticket feeds TWO (2) people: the ticket holder + a person in need

• This covers the ticket holder's admission to the event, plus food and wine, and good times. Lots of new friends implied though not guaranteed! With the purchase of this ticket, you pledge that, during the course of your evening you will spare a few minute to fill a box (we will provide one) with chef Shikhel's food, and either 1) give it directly to a homeless person on your way home (keep your eyes open, you are more than likely to see one), or 2) entrust the filled box to us to distribute in your name to the right individuals. 
• Please arrive within your ticket's designated time (6-8pm or 8-10pm). 
• Tickets are limited to 50 per each admittance window.

Each $25 non-dining donation will allow us to make two boxed meals for those in need

• If you cannot join us as a dine-in guest, you can still help from wherever you are! For each $25 donation, we will fill two boxes with chef Shikhel's food and distribute to the right recipient in your name. We appreciate your donation.
